Summary: ADDIS ABEBA PRIVATE TOUR We booked a private city tour to make the most of our long wait at the airport. Our guide, Fitsum, and his driver took us on a fascinating journey through the city's rich history. We started at the museum, where Fitsum shared his knowledge of the city's publishing heritage. Next, we visited the royal palace, now home to the university, and explored the vibrant markets, including a stunning clothing market. However, the highlight of our tour was undoubtedly the local market, where we discovered an array of exotic spices and immersed ourselves in the sights and sounds of the city. Our tour culminated in a delightful coffee ceremony and dinner at Yod Abyssinia Traditional Food, where we were treated to traditional dances and songs. This was truly an unforgettable experience. We were impressed by the city's modernity and cleanliness, as well as the warm hospitality of the locals. Overall, our tour was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore this vibrant city. Thank you to Fitsum, our excellent guide, for making our tour so enjoyable.
