Private Alghero, Sardinia Sightseeing Tour and Wine Tasting Experience for You

Summary: We had a wonderful experience with an archeological round tour and wine tasting with Kevin as our guide. A part from being extremely knowledgeable and speaking excellent English, Kevin also shared tips of nice Sardinian restaurants and must do’s that was very valuable to us. The wine experience also gave an interesting historical perspective of the Sardinian wine making history.

Summary: We did the archeological visit and wine tasting and would highly recommend. It was a pleasure having Keving as a guide, and his knowledge about the nuraghe palmavera made it such an interesting experience (much better than going there independently).

Summary: Our guide Kevin was very knowledgeable and walked us round the old town. We then went by car to visit a winery and tried out the local cheeses and wine. An enjoyable experience and highly recommendable.

Summary: Definitely would recommend this tour and the fabulous Kevin as a guide who was super friendly and knowledgeable. Kevin is from Sardinia but has one English parent meaning he has great English. He picked us up from our Airbnb and dropped us back here. The wine tour and archeological option were both fantastic!

Summary: We started our tour with thoughtful and interesting visit of the old Alghero city. Kevin, our guide, was thoughtful, smart, charming and gentle. He speaks English and Italian perfectly, among other languages, making him an easy companion. Our second stop was to the winery where we sampled some delicious wine and food under the care of the lovely sommelier Loredana. A comfy car trip ended the tour - we didn't even have to worry about driving. Nice fun, a few giggles and attention to detail makes this a trip worth trying.

Summary: It was a great trip around the old city, the guide was really good and had a lot of exciting information. The wine tasting was also just fantastic, a lot of good information about the wine production and very good wines.

Summary: This was a great tour. Kevin is a lovely guy and very knowledgeable. We did the wine and archeology tour - really enjoyable - the winery guide, Lori, was so sweet and the wines with cheese and meats was delicious. Kevin used to work at the archeology site and it was fascinating - overall a great trip.

Summary: We did the Archaeology and Wine tour starting the day at the Nuraghe Palmavera village. The visit was very interesting, and we learned a lot about the Nuraghe people, their lives, and their house building methods. When visiting the winery, we got to see the full production processes and learn about the different aspects of producing wine. That made the tasting afterwards especially interesting. Kevin knows everything about Alghero and answered all our questions. He took very well care of us, and I recommend joining this tour.

Summary: This experience was definitely the highlight of our holiday! We wanted to go for a wine tasting experience but we didn't expect it so wonderful... Kevin, our guide, showed us the city of Alghero explaining really curious facts about the town... Then we went with him to the wine cellar of Saint Maria Palma, where we saw how wine is produced... our little kids enjoyed getting inside the factory. The wine tasting was the icing on the cake. With Kevin we had no worries about driving back after drinking 3 wines. It was really worth it!

Summary: My wife and I went to Sardinia for a week, and when we arrived in Alghero we decided it was worth visiting with a guided tour. We were also interested in visiting some wineries, so this tour seemed to be for us. Kevin was an outstanding guide! At the beginning of the tour we found ourselves in the city center of Alghero, where he took us to visit the most important monuments without ever getting bored. We also saw some very suggestive hidden corners. But the best part was certainly the visit to the winery, outside the city. We went with Kevin and Loredana, the guide of the Santa Maria la Palma winery, welcomed us at the company. We saw the entire wine production chain, saw the bottling, the boxing and finally tasted some fantastic local wines with a typical Sardinian aperitif. What can I say, it's really worth it!
