Summary:
When visiting Atlanta from NJ, we wanted to spend quality time with my sister (who’s lived in GA for decades) and my niece (who’s a GA native), but we were worried about them being bored at tourist sites— especially my teenage niece. Well, we definitely got it right with the Original Selfie Studio in Atlanta!
This was such an incredibly fun experience! There was a large variety of settings & backdrops; a lively, upbeat atmosphere; great staff and everything you needed (except your phone/camera) provided for you.
Med gave us a quick overview, set us up with our tripods & remote shutters and we were off! He continued to follow up with us throughout our visit to give us tips on getting the best angles, suggesting poses and techniques, etc.
I really loved how this was fun for all ages, creativity was promoted, and it managed to bring us all a little closer together through laughter.
On a more practical note, I liked that there were ring lights everywhere, free on-street parking and fairly-inexpensive parking lots nearby.
One thing to note is accessibility. The building is accessible, as are the majority of the photo ops on the ground floor. There are additional spots, however, that are upstairs and I believe you can only access these by climbing a flight of stairs.
I would still highly recommend the Original Selfie Studio in Atlanta— especially since my niece is excited about going back with her friends… with wardrobe changes!!! Definitely worth it!😃
