Stunnning way to spend the day at what has been described as Brazil’s Caribbean! Quite a journey from the cruise port of about 40 minutes but well worth the effort.. river is fantastic and tour guide excellent.. the beach itself is accessed from rowing boat with plenty of locals on hand to row you across the narrow stretch of water for $2!
Facilities could be better on the beach itself with the portable loos a disgrace.
We didn’t find any sunbeds only table and chairs but the beach itself is lovely.
River cruise definitely the highlight though..
