Summary: This was a wonderful experience and showed the very bests of Al Ula. My guide, Anood, an independent Saudi woman was fantastic! My flight from Riyadh was late. She thoughtfully designed the program and skillfully drove me to Hegra just in time for the guided bus tour. Afterwards, we visited the elephant rock under the moon, the old town, and had an authentic dinner. She even helped me with some shopping and dropped me off at my accommodation for the night for a reasonable additional fee. She went out of her way to call my accommodation the next morning and helped me with a lost package.

Summary: I recommend this tour to anyone who's traveling to Alula. I learned so much about its deep and rich culture and history. Abdullah and AlAnoud are both very friendly with full of hospitality.

Summary: Hegra and Petra were both part of the same people group. The elaborate tombs built into the side of the sandstone formations are quite unique. The Al Ula region is full of sandstone rock formations straight out of a Star Wars movie set. I had a wonderful tour guide named Anood who was excellent.
