Summary: What a day! Horse back riding, the views, the estancia, the food… TOP!!!! The hospitality of the family that run the show, SIMPLY AMAZING!! We felt part of that family, estancia was super cozy, fireplace on, warm! Fully recommend going to this place, and if you have a chance, stay there and sleep at the estancia. Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. They will also arrange for you to visit wineries close to the estancia.

Summary: If you’re looking for a day trip from Mendoza or a beautiful place to stay in the country, head to Vivacs del Plata. The stunning scenery can be experienced on a ride with beautifully trained horses or in a comfortable pickup truck. Either will be followed by warm hospitality and delicious food ! The host family makes you feel at home. There are also new, comfortable guest rooms with modern bathrooms for overnight stays. This is a gem!

Summary: What an incredible day! Fabian, Carolina and Camila made us feel at home and part of the family. I only wish we knew before our trip that this opportunity existed and that we could have stayed overnight and even the whole time. The horseback riding was breathtaking and we even had a condor swooping directly over us. We will definitely be back.

Glorious location with added adventure of horse riding in the Andes with superb guides, good horses and an ultimate experience. Superb adventure. Thanks to the family for an outstanding experience.

Summary: I don’t do many reviews, but I feel after visiting and experiencing this place it was important to share how amazing this experience was! When it comes to authenticity, this comes second to none. We were greeted and looked after by the Palma family who gave us a truly unforgettable experience that we will remember forever. The food, service and care was incredible and we would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Mendoza. It may be a small drive away, but it is worth every minute.

Summary: My family and I had an amazing experience at Vivacs. The horse trip was wonderful, the food was awesome, and best of all was our guides/hosts/new friends who own and run the experience. My mom who was visiting from New York described the day as one of her best days ever and my young daughters had a great time with the horses and other animals on the farm. The views were also incredible. Totally recommend and next time we’d spend a night!

Summary: Without a doubt the highlight of our trip! Run by the absolute nicest family, this place is absolutely magical in every way. The views are outstanding and the food was absolutely incredible. The family that runs this place is really what sets it apart from anything else we've done here, though. They were so kind and welcoming, opening up their entire home to us to use for the whole day. They even had places arranged for us for taking naps after our outdoor BBQ meal! My only regret is that we didn't stay here multiple nights rather than at a traditional hotel. There is no doubt that l'll be coming back again, and recommending this place to everyone I know! Huge thank you to the Palmas for creating such an unforgettable experience for me and my family!

Summary: My husband and I just returned from Mendoza, with a side trip to Vivacs del Plata. The genuine warmth of our host family was as expansive as the Andes mountains visible behind their home. We opted for a late afternoon horseback riding experience with JuanCruz as our guide. The horses were gentle and the family dogs accompanied us on a picture perfect sunset ride. JuanCruz took photos and videos for us so we could just ride and enjoy the vistas. At the end of the ride we were greeted with a bonfire, wine and hors d’oeuvres in a cozy outdoor seating area made of stone. We highly recommend the Palma family’s estancia and will be back, perhaps for an overnight stay.

Summary: Visiting Vivacs del Plata was a truly special experience, and I’m grateful for the chance to spend time at the ranch. The entire family were fantastic hosts, made me feel welcome and truly treated me like family, right upon arrival. They created an atmosphere that felt genuine, authentic and easy going. They made everything so seamless, adjusting to my timing and schedule without a hint of inconvenience. The ranch itself is breathtakingly beautiful, blending rustic charm with thoughtful details, beautiful modern design and stunning views that make you want to pause and soak it all in. Every aspect of the day—from the delicious, locally-inspired food and wine to the relaxed pace—showed the care they put into sharing their love of this place with guests. In addition to the atmosphere, riding through the landscape with Juan Cruz was unforgettable. His passion for the ranch and outdoors provided inspiring, stellar company were inspiring, leaving me with a quiet sense of peace and appreciation and powerful opportunity to connect with the beauty of the bucolic open spaces in Mendoza. I couldn’t recommend a visit to Vivacs del Plata more! Sofia, Juan Cruz, and their ranch embody a warmth and spirit that is hard to find. It is the perfect vacation retreat and a reprieve for a busy life, making the experience one you’ll hold onto long after leaving.

Summary: Best experience ever! My friend and I visited the range for a couple days, and the hospitality from the family Palma was unbelievable. Cozy breakfast, lunch and dinners were prepared in traditional Argentinian style and the activities were planned with care! I would 100% recommend this experience and love to go back anytime soon
