Beer Spa Experience

Summary: This was a great couples experience. You have a private room to soak and relax. The beer in the tub is warm but the beer on tap is cold. It's a very one-of-a-kind experience. Make sure to arrive early to utilize the outside hot tubs as well.

Summary: We visited during a week of hols in March 2025. Took a taxi to get us there and back. We arrived an hour early and enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs and sauna. Great views! Loved the beer spa and chilling afterwards, left happy and mellow - wonderful!

Summary: I suggest this to anyone who likes beer ! The hot tub before the beer tub has a view on Fjords, a really awesome one. And then the beer bath was one of a kind experience - just relax in a bath - have a tap with cold beer right next to you. I really suggest :)

Summary: The beer spa was wonderful. If you come 30min in advance of your booking, you can relax in an outdoor hottub after taking a shower with beer soap and shampoo. Once the time has come, the receptionist will call you and direct you to your room where you can enjoy both the unlimited draft beer from private tabs and the 30min beer bath (which you are recommended to take naked). Then, people are directed to a resting lounge to lay down and be wrapped in a warm blanket (would recommend only using the robe provided by the spa and stay naked too). ! It is recommended to NOT shower for the following 6h to let the beer sink in the skin and hair. Best advice to follow in my opinion

Summary: totally recommend it. the staff was highly polite and helpful, the quality of the service is amazing and everything was really really top quality. it is a bit pricey but once in a lifetime is worth the experience ( around 11.000 isk singles and 19.000 couples- 130 euro)

Summary: I couldn't reccomend this enough! We went there 2 couples, for couples baths. We had the bus pick us up in Akureyri, the couple that was with us chose to use the outside tubs before the baths, me and my husband enjoyed a beer before going in. After the baths, we used the infrared sauna but the other couple went to the relaxation room. After it, we had a table booked. None of us ordered the same for dinner. My friends had the Kaldi burger and fish and chips, me and my husband ordered the fish of the day and meat of the day. The food was perfect! The guy that was our waiter for the evening was awesome, polite, funny and obviously happy in his job. We all ordered a whole lot of beer, and we were surpriced by the bill, we expected it to be way higer! So all in all! Reccomend 100% and we for sure are planning on going again!

Summary: Very good hospitality and friendly staff. We came here second time from Hrìsey because we loved the experience last time and so easy to go from Hrísey and just walk few minutes from were the ferry stops. Definitely 5 stars from us!

Summary: I had not heard of soaking in beer before, and could not pass up the experience. Oh, this is good. You have your own private room and they fill up a tub with warm beer. There is a tap with cold beer that you can drink while in the tub. Soaking in this beer was so relaxing. This was so much fun. After that, you go into a relaxation room (no beer). They have ‘beds’ set up, you lie down, they massage your feet a bit and cover you up. There is relaxing music playing and you rest there in the dark for 25 minutes. By the time we were done, I was so relaxed and my skin felt amazing. They have an outside regular hot tub you can soak in after if you want, but we did not do that. We got some tea and a piece of pie in the restaurant to transition before we got back in the car. It was great!

Summary: This is an unique experience: new facilities, great and highly friendly staff: an experience to be repeated.
