Biokovo Skywalk

Summary: Really really good trip! Fun and informative guide (think ladies name was Ann Marie). Had a stop and enjoyed Figs and Cherry Brandy, and had a stop after the Skywalk to walk to a high view point (views were amazing). Once back to the coach, we then enjoyed a cup of tea and a homemade cookie before heading back down the mountain. The Skywalk itself was worth visiting, but the whole tour itself made it such a good day. Learnt a lot and enjoyed a beautiful part of Croatia. So much more than just a drive up, walk round the Skywalk and drive back. Fully recommended. 10/10

Summary: A really good trip which took you to the skywalk and also to a higher view point. The guide and driver did a great job and were full of enthusiasm for their history and culture. They told you the history of the people who used to live in the park and pointed out the different plants.

The views were spectacular and the added info and experience with local drinks, biscuits and figs made it so special. The sky walk was scary at first but really glad I braved it and did it. We strongly recommend going with a tour guide rather than driving on your own, as the route is often filled with drivers who may not be adept at navigating such conditions. We opted for a private mini-bus tour, which provided its own parking, making the journey more comfortable and stress-free. Best Time to Visit One of the key tips for visiting the Biokovo Skywalk is to go in the evening. During this time, the skywalk is less crowded, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience with more time to take in the views. The evening light also adds to the beauty of the scenery. Views and Information The views from the skywalk are simply incredible, offering panoramic sights of the surrounding landscape that are both awe-inspiring and photogenic. Additionally, there are informative displays that provide interesting insights into the area’s geography and natural history, enhancing the overall experience. Overall Impression The Biokovo Skywalk is a wonderful place that we would definitely visit again. Its combination of stunning views, thoughtful design, and the thrill of being suspended over such a dramatic landscape makes it a must-see attraction. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our trip up Biokovo mountain very much! Anna Maria (our tour guide) was absolutely lovely and very friendly. She clearly cares a lot for the nature reserve and she has a lot of knowledge about the area. We also appreciated the fact that they use no plastic - we had glass water bottles and the snacks had no plastic packaging :) Our driver for the trip did a fantastic job navigating the narrow windy road up the mountain. The Biokovo Skywalk is definitely a must-do if you’re visiting Croatia and the Tip-Extreme crew are the definitely the ones to go with :)

Summary: Me and my partner went for a trip to the beautiful mountains of Biokovo. We got picked up by their tuk-tuk outside our hotel, tickets to the too and snacks included. On the way up to the too we stopped to taste their localy produced liquor with an amazing view of Hvar and Brac. After that we passed wild horses living in the mountains. On the top was the skywalk where we walked on a glass bridge in the air. So thankful for the great experience and wonderful views!
