Summary: What a fun way to start the day! It was a gloomy/chilly day, but we made the best of it starting off with a big rappel and getting wet! Gerard C. was our guide and he was confident, friendly, and kept the pace moving- I really appreciated his explanations of how to get through the canyon and he was available to help at any point....still giggling at how fast, and comfortably he tied the knots for the rappel (felt too casual in the moment ;P) I assume that the gloomy day lent to having such a small group during our session- and this made it feel more like we all knew each other and that we could play! The price was totally worth the fun and thrill- Set up was easy- Gerard eyed our sizes and knew exactly what gear was needed and fast! After the adventure, we were treated to lunch and drinks, and especially loved the thoughtfully included cheese from the farm we were parked at!
