Summary: Next Adventure Nicaragua was efficient and easy to communicate with. Our tour guide Eric was local to the island, having spent his whole life there. He was well educated in local flora and fauna and definitely loved the nature and animals on the island. We toured many of the local spots, had lunch in a local restaurant and definitely enjoyed our time on Ometepe. For that alone I would give the trip 5 stars. However, when the ferries were shut down due to wind and we realized we would unexpectedly have to spend the night on the island, Eric sprung into action, assisting us in finding rooms and making sure we were set for the night. The next morning he was back at our hostel at 5AM and successfully guided the 7 of us through the crowds and didn't stop working until we were on the first boat. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!

Summary: Completed two days with Moises doing the Mombacho Tigrillo trail and pueblos blancos one day and Ometepe the other day. He also organized our pickup and drop off for the airport in Managua with his associate Antonio who is very professional. The trips were excellent. Moises has a strong command of fluent English and provided great details and context for everywhere we went. From the scenery, to the food, to the journeys, he answered all of our questions. We had an awesome time exploring so many corners of Nicaragua with him. Highlights were definitely the views from the top of Mombacho and the Ojo de Agua in Ometepe. Will definitely book again in the future. For anyone who has a sense of adventure and getting off the beaten path, these tours are for you.

Summary: I had the best time on this tour! The communication from the guide beforehand was excellent, I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel, and the trip itself was amazing. The guide was super knowledgeable and the island is incredible. Would 100% recommend.

Summary: Julio picked us up at 5am from our hotel, explained about Nicaragua history and culture as we drive to the ferry. We got on the ferry with locals giving us the authentic experience of real working people. We transferred to different car in Ometepe and went to all the major viewing spots. It was breathtaking. The guides in Ometepe was also very knowledgeable and helpful. We had lunch at one of the best spots with view of both volcanoes. Highly recommend this. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Summary: I had a fantastic trip to Ometepe today. The whole experience was great. I was able to book a solo tour, Moises was very helpful. I messed up the date and he kindly accommodated the date change. My guide Julio was fun and knowledgeable and speaks great English. All in all a terrific day. The island and lake are so unique and beautiful, definitely worth a visit.

Summary: During my stay in San Juan Del Sur (@Eden on the Chocolata) I wanted to tour Ometepe. Upon researching the tours I was thinking I didn't have many options as I was traveling alone as well as departing from a different location from the standard packages. I contacted Next Adventure Nicaragua on the off chance they could figure something out, and as I was wanting it basically the next day I wasn't very hopeful. I got a response within an hour that addressed not only my solo travel status but the fact I wanted to leave from a different location and in basically less than 12 hours. A tour with every single stop, transport, entry and exit fee taken care of was created for me in that short time I was utterly delighted! My guide, Carlos Alvarez arrived early the next morning in our transportation to the ferry. From that point on everything was 100% taken care of. It can be overwhelming and confusing especially if you do not speak Spanish anytime you have to enter any mode of transportation, facility, beach, business- it was all taken care of. When we reached the island ferry port, our transportation for the day awaited our arrival. The land and the scenery are majestic there really is no way a picture can convey that sort of visceral beauty. My guide Carlos Alvarez's knowledge about the history, wildlife, natural wonders and culture was vast. As we went through the wildlife reserve he and our driver Jorge had so much knowledge about every tree, plant, animal.....it was so educational and impressive. Jorge had eagle eyes and repeatedly basically had to labor to point tiny things out that I 100% would have never noticed..... a snake that looks exactly like a branch..... A tiny underground trail of insects.... it was awesome. They both also had a lot of knowledge about the uses and origins of tons of everthing in the reserve. The museum was so interesting. So many ancient items with priceless historical value. A young lady named Meylin guided me through the collection and had so much knowledge about every single piece. My experience and the service I received from Next Adventure Nicaragua as well as the knowledge Carlos, Jorge, and Meylin shared was impeccable. I couldn't have asked for a more comprehensive experience with every single step taken care of. Next Adventure Nicaragua gets a million stars out of a million from me!

Summary: Great excursion with a great guide. Everything was well organized - the landscape was beautifull. It was a full day of good impressions. Highly recommended!
