Summary: Lupanga peak was quite a challenging trip (not for beginners). Evance was an excellent guide, perfect combination of friendly and knowledgeable, and he speaks good English. We learnt about the area, the villages and it’s history. We were also very lucky to spot black and white colobus monkeys on the way back down. The second day we took an easy hike to morning site and Choma waterfalls where we enjoyed our lunch, including a killer guacamole that we whipped together in the middle of the mountains! Another enjoyable day in Uluguru. Evance was also very flexible in terms of adjusting the planned routes as we went along, which suited us well.
