Summary: The buggy ride in the Huacachina Oasis was one of the most incredible tourist experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled quite a bit. The adventure begins in a breathtaking setting, with stunning views of the massive dunes. The place is packed with buggies — or, as I like to call them, true Mad Max-style sand conquerors. Each buggy holds about eight people, and while it’s an adventurous ride, it’s surprisingly comfortable for what it is. But don’t forget: this is an adrenaline-packed activity! It feels like a rollercoaster in the middle of the desert, with the roar of the engine as you go up and down massive dunes that make your stomach churn with excitement. It’s worth every penny, and the price is surprisingly affordable for everything you get. And the best part? We made several stops to slide down the dunes on sandboards and watched a stunning sunset disappearing behind the golden, fine sands. Our driver was fantastic and very attentive. I highly recommend this experience, and I would gladly do it again!

Summary: Sam was a really nice guy. We booked 5pm tour, when we got Hotel Bamboo around 4:45pm, he was already waiting for us there, and then arranged us to storage bags, using washroom, leading us to the dune. Dune buggy is really a fun and must-have experience in Peru, don’t miss it, it’s absolutely worth you to take time and money to visit Huacachina Oasis. BTW, sitting on the moon evening dune and enjoying the outside music concert, is a really romantic experience.

Summary: My husband and I had an amazing time on this dune buggy ride through the Huacachina oasis. Our driver drifted off of sand dunes and made our buggy ride a real thriller!! We also stopped a few times and went down on the sandboards on our bellies. Going later in the day was great as we got to watch a beautiful sunset as well. Worth the money, so much fun!!

Summary: This was WAY more fun than we expected!! Samael was super helpful and organized, we used him for our wine tour as well. The buggies are fast and had all of us screaming the whole time! The sunset was incredible as well, highly recommended!

Summary: I cannot find the words to match the amount of fun and excitement I had on this tour!!!! ICA is beautiful in itself. It is bustling with small cars (I forgot the name, I think they call it moto-taxis), all colourful, serving as a backdrop for the desert city. My friend and I initially booked a day tour but thankfully our winery tour guide, Sam, convinced us that the sunset tour would be a much better feat. We opted for it and he could not have been more right. Now guys! Hold on to your seats because this is a wild one LOL!! We got onto our dune buggy, after meeting up at the office, strapped into our seats (get one by the door) and had a ride of our lives!!!!! Our driver and guide took us up and down the sand dunes in a thrilling rush. Our stomach dropped, our hearts pounded, we laughed, we screamed, we had fun LOL! At different intervals the driver stopped at picturesque locations for us to do our personal mini photo shoots. We even sand boarded down a few dunes. It looked intimidating at first and the rush of adrenaline will give rise to fears but our guide gave us a short lesson on how to position ourselves so that we can enjoy the ride and keep safe. The ride ended with a sunset view that somehow gave calm to the thrill and excitement that we previously had. It felt like a reward at the end of a busy trip/day. This tour was definitely one for the books and if I had to visit ICA again, I would definitely find myself here.

Summary: We did this activity as part of the day trip from Lima, the drive is really long, like 4 hours. The activity itself is really fun. Dune Buggy and sand ski are so fun that the 1 hour time easily passing by. Also the view of the sand dune and the pond is stunning. There are many local people selling the buggy tour in that area, You can just walk in and get this activity schedule without advance booking.
