Summary: We never leave reviews here but had to comment on how amazing this trip was. We expected the landscape on the way to Etna to be spectacular and for Etna itself to be unforgettable but we didn’t expect our guide, Leonardo, to make what was already unbelievable even better. He is professional yet brought a lovely sense of humour to the trip, he is knowledgeable and passionate, he explained everything about the geology in such a way that the whole group understood, and we felt super safe with him driving us up and down winding roads. Grazie mile, Leonardo, sei il migliore!

Summary: It was very interesting, rather easy walk and a bit educational excursion in the lower part of Etna. The guide, Leonardo, explained everything to us in English and also in Italian. He was very friendly and amusing. The excursion was a quite afternoon programme not much physically demanding. I would recommend it.

Summary: To cloudy to view the sunset; however, it was a incredible experience to walk and observe this amazing volcano. We experienced heavy rain, dime sized hail, but an amazing view after the rain subsided. Dario was great, and very knowledgeable about the volcano, the landscape, the vegatation, and the cave. Summary: The final sunset view on mount Etna was one of the most unique experiences ever. Our guide Iorga was great, very informative and passionate and left us with a surprise at the end. Would recommend to everyone!

Summary: Despite an unusual weather event that saw us doing the sunset tour in pouring rain and fog on what had been a hot and sunny July day down in Catania, this was a great tour led by a brilliant guide who really brought the history of Etna to life As someone who is generally nervous of heights and mountain roads I was very apprehensive about the trip up in a minibus but our guide was a very safe and careful driver and the roads themselves were good and without the sheer drops I’d feared. Although we didn’t get to see the sunset, we really enjoyed walking through the lava cave and the trek up to and around crater rims and learning about the geology of this and other volcanos. It was a memorable trip and we’d recommend to others.

Summary: We loved the tour with Maurizio, who was very punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the mountain and explained its geology, fauna, and cultural history so well, in both English and Italian. The hike was fun and not difficult, perfect for those of us who didn't come prepared for intense hiking. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Etna
