I really wanted to take a cooking class with an authentic experience and this class checked those boxes and more. It was just me and another solo traveler and we had the most wholesome time. We got to go to the market, partake in a Laos traditional ceremony, weave a coaster, cook in their amazing outdoor kitchen with a beautiful view of the sunset, eat our delicious food and then listen to one of the monks play the Caan (large wind instrument traditional to their culture.) It was a great time and I hope to bring my friends and family back here:)

Market shopping for fresh produce, shamen blessing and singing, bamboo weaving, cooking class was well explained and very hands on then after eating our meal we had the experience of a local pipe player, listening and playing.
