During our stay in Kandy, we attended the Kandyan Cultural Dance Show followed by a Fire Dance Demonstration, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka.
The cultural dance performance was fascinating from start to finish. We loved seeing the traditional Kandyan costumes, energetic drumming, and graceful movements that have been part of Sri Lankan heritage for centuries. It was both entertaining and a beautiful way to connect with the local culture.
After the dances, the evening ended with a thrilling fire performance. The performers wowed the crowd as they spun blazing fire sticks, danced with flames, and even walked barefoot across fire. It was exciting to watch and a perfect way to finish the evening.
The venue was well-organized, and the show lasted just the right amount of time. I highly recommend adding this experience to your itinerary if you are visiting Kandy. It’s a great way to learn more about Sri Lanka’s traditions while enjoying an unforgettable evening.

It’s a bit confusing trying to find the place as there are 3 different cultural dances on all at the same time. But once we figured out where to go and met the guide it was great. We had reserved seats nearish the front. The dancing was excellent and the fire show near the end was great. I would recommend going to this as an evening activity
