Summary: I saw the reviews were quite mixed on whether this was a taxi service to take you where you wanted vs a more full tour experience. We had Nick as our guide who very much had the full guided tour experience of the island. Nick had a perfect balance of giving you information while also giving you space to take in the views and relax. He had a route planned which missed the big tour groups at the main sites. Summary: Great overview of Gozo outside of Victoria. While Gozo is a small island we never would have been able to see everything on our own. Heidi was an excellent driver and offered a wealth of insights about life on the island. We especially enjoyed the Xwejni Salt Pans, Ghasri and Dwejra. Heidi encouraged us to take the short boats rides that were offered at the latter and we were very glad that we did. It was a Great day! Many thanks!

Summary: This was a totally excellent experience! Our guide, Grace, knows the island like the back of her hand and got us to every location you could hope for in the hours we had. She advised us about each location, the history, special things we needed to note, etc. Also, she took us to an extremely inexpensive lunch place that saved us $20/person over other fancier restaurants we might have chosen. We were a little concerned with the "European-size" of her car at first (three sitting in the back seat), but her great driving expertise with that car of hers saved us hours of traffic delays and a great deal of walking from more distant parking lots -- a clear win for us. I fyou have a group of 2,3, or 4 you probably couldn't find a better tour -- and this is coming from someone who has seen about 30 countries over the last 3 years.

Summary: We did a 4 hour private tour. Heidi picked us up at the agreed time and talked to us about what we wanted to see and what interested us. She then tailored the tour to match our interests. She gave lots of interesting information about the island and the places we were visiting, and gave us time to explore each venue on our own. At no point were timings set and we found the tour relaxing, whilst not only seeing what we hoped to see, but with lots of other sites of interest added in. We even had time to stop for a refreshment break at a lovely little kiosk where they made their own ftira which was the best we have had since arriving in Malta/Gozo. During the tour we visited; Ggantija temple, Xaghra Ta’Kola windmill, Xaghra Ramla bay and Calypsos Cave Marsalforn Xwejni bay and salt pans Ta’Pinu Basilica, Gharb Wied il-Mielaħ Window Dwerja Savina Food Market This really was the highlight of our time on Gozo, we feel we have visited the main sites on the Island in a comfortable and relaxed way. Heidi was great!

Summary: We had a wonderful experience seeing the island of Gozo on this private tour. I've previously been around the island with a tour group, but getting to see the island with a private driver was 100% worth it! We were able to see so many spots that are impossible to see with a group, and we were happy to be moving at our own pace and tailor the experience to our interests. Our driver, Nick, was a great guide and worked with us to plan out the day and avoid the tourist crowds. We loved learning about the island from him and got lots of recommendations for how to spend the rest of our free time on Gozo. If you're on the fence between signing up for one of the Jeep/TukTuk tours and springing for the private tour, definitely sign up for this one!

Summary: This was a full day Gozo tour in our private car. Our guide and Driver Kurt was an excellent guide! He patiently explained the history and background of each sites. Took us to an excellent seaside restaurant IL Kartell for lunch. Also stopped at our request at a village center for us to take some photos of the decorations for an upcoming feast! And adjusted our subtle change of itinerary and dropped us off at the ferry in time for us to catch the fast ferry back to Valletta. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Summary: Wonderful way to see Gozo on a 4 hour private tour. Our driver Heidi was very friendly and her local knowledge was incredible. The benefit of a private tour is being able to customise our itinerary and we definitely found that was the case.
