Salmon River Full-Day Whitewater Rafting Adventure

Summary: My 11 year old grandson and I thoroughly loved the 3 day Salmon River rafting trip. The days were fun, the guides were fantastic, the sandy beach camping sites were great, and the food was delicious and then some. Everyone in our group of 18 people had a ball. We made good friends and had a memorable vacation. Highly recommend!

Summary: Our family of 10 (cousins and siblings) spent 2 glorious days on the Salmon with Sunshine and Leleand. I was a bit nervous about the trip, unsure of what to expect. I felt safe and taken care of in every way possible. Sunshine was excellent in supporting the younger kids in our group and Leland taught my son how to navigate the rapids in the ducky like a pro. The food, the conversation, the laughter- the entire trip was everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you MRO and crew for an outstanding trip!

Summary: We just got back from the 4 night/5 day Main Salmon rafting trip. This outfit is top notch. Our guides were truly wonderful professionals, but also really fun to hang out with! They played with our kids, played with us, made us incredible food, taught us history along the trip, and more! They own multiple properties along the river, including a chance to sleep in beds and take a shower mid-trip! All the gear is top notch, newer, clean, and well maintained. They had various ways we could go down the river, from the main rafts, to inflatable kayaks, etc. We brought our 7, 9, and 11 year old daughters and were a little nervous about how that would work out, but we always felt safe with our expert guides. Might be the start of a repeated family tradition!

Summary: These guys are great!! We took a 3-day rafting adventure through Hell's Canyon. Weather was rough one day but the guides were absolutely fabulous. Ryan was our guide, but everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable through the entire trip. We caught fish just about every time we through the line in. The scenery was just beautiful, and the camp sites and food were just perfect. This is the ideal family outing when you want to get away from the tv, cell phones, and computers and just enjoy spending time with the family. We told stories around the camp fire at night and over a hot pot of coffee the next morning. Ryan and his crew made some wonderful meals, set up all the tents, and took care of every need. This is not your typical camping trip! We bonded with the other guests on the trip, and i know they felt the same about the way we were all treated. I highly recommend this outfitter and the Snake or Salmon rivers. You will not be disappointed!

Summary: Awesome full day ride with Freddy and Crew. Our group of 4 friends chose to hang with Freddy in the raft carrying all the food. No rowing for us but that sure didn’t mean we were missing out on the fun and definitely got our fair share of wet. Great history lessons and laughs along the way. We’re already talking about our trip next year. Thank you for a great experience!

Summary: We took a half day raft trip Sunday August 20, 2017. Friendly staff, organized, easy online waiver process. Conner WAS pour guide. He was professional, entertaining, informative on salmon river and its history. It was a lovely and exhilarating way to spend a morning. Highly recommend this activity and company.

Summary: Our family of four had a great day on the river! Staff were very concerned about safety, even going through a checklist of safety information before starting. Our life jackets were triple checked. Hit me was kind, comfortable and gave some interesting facts about the river and surrounding area. He was truly interested in the rapids and how we would get through them with a fun yet safe experience. Lunch was good, taco salad. It took a long time to set up. The guides never seemed to be in a hurry. As with other excursions, sodas and water were advertised as complimentary, however you had to ask for the sodas. Overall, a great time.
