Explore Ghost on the Strand - Haunted Walking Tour in Galveston, Texas

Join a 90-minute walking tour through Galveston’s most haunted corners as you explore the historic 19th-century buildings on THE STRAND, where shadows linger in alleys, staircases and storefronts; on this island you’ll hear stories of hurricanes, war, fire and epidemics that turned the original street of horror into a ghost sanctuary, and learn how the pirate Jean Lafitte once helped make it a den of thieves-legend says Galveston has more ghosts than any other city in the U.S., with translucent figures floating by windows, sudden shadows and objects moving of their own accord, so you’ll find yourself huddling closer as you turn each corner and discover why some call it “a cemetery with a beach attached.”

Summary: We went on a night during a Halloween Parade so it was very crowded and loud! Thomas did a great job making sure we could all hear him and keep us engaged. He was very careful to put our safety first. If you have a chance this is a tour you do not want to miss .
