We visited Tvrdić Honey as part of a biking group, with ages ranging from 15 to 70, and every single one of us had a wonderful time. The third-generation owner was absolutely charming - funny, engaging, and so knowledgeable about bees and honey-making. He shared fascinating insights about the art of beekeeping and kept all of us entertained and curious!
The tasting was delicious (don’t miss the rosemary honey—it’s incredible!) and the whole experience felt authentic and personal. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to support a local tradition that’s been lovingly carried on for decades.
If you’re anywhere nearby, make sure to stop in. You’ll leave with a smile, a deeper appreciation for bees, and probably a jar or two of the best honey you’ve ever had!
