Take a Guided Rafting Trip on the Lower Salt River from Downtown Phoenix

Summary: Very welcoming staff that was ready to help insure your time at the ranch was enjoyable. During our time we rafted the river, rode horses, and took a boat tour of the lake; even though it was hot, 112 degrees was the high, we still enjoyed ourselves. Hope to go back again.

Summary: This was such an amazing rafting trip and lived up to all of our expectations. The mountains were just so majestic and we loved all the wildlife, including the many varieties of birds and tons of blue herons, which were everywhere. The finale, of course were the beautiful wild horses which we were hoping for. Just magical! Cody was our guide and was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We would go again in a heartbeat.

Summary: We had a BEYOND FANTASTIC experience on our guided rafting trip. Our family of 20, ranging in age from 3 to 70 filled three rafts! Ours was a once in a lifetime birthday outing that will long be remembered. I was in Justin's boat. It was incredibly beautiful and fun. The small children were thrilled every time we reached rapids, which were actually fast enough to be exciting and gentle enough to be comfortable. We saw feral horses, a variety of birds including herons and watched a fisherman on the shore catch a large fish. Justin was delightful and shared facts and information- extremely interesting. He also had a variety of soft drinks for us. We all took turns paddling, contributing a range of power, and all of the children participated with gusto. At the end of a truly magical 3 hours, we rode in the van back to the ranch and had a lovely box lunch picnic under the trees. The children played corn hole and soccer. No one was ready when it was time to go. Holly at reception was a fantastic quarterback for the entire expedition . I cannot recommend this experience enough. It was perfect from start to finish.

Summary: Chris is a friendly guide. I went with my family including three young children. The tour takes two and half hours. We have a great experience there. Remember to bring cash with you for tips, they don’t have vemo or Zelle. I fell so sorry that I couldn’t tip Chris for his outstanding work.

Summary: This was the most peaceful experience! Danny, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I would do this again and again. The coolest part, was at the end there were wild horses playing in the water. It was just beautiful!

Summary: What an amazing stay at Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch. We had a lovely time feeling laid back in nature, floating the river, enjoying BBQ and live music and fantastic hospitality from our hosts!

Summary: This raft trip was just what we were looking for! Our guide was great! Knowledgeable, funny, and great rafter. The sights were amazing, and we saw all kinds of wildlife, including herons, turkey vultures, lots of other birds, box turtles, wild horses, and box turtles. We loved it! Highly recommend!
