Summary: This bike trip was the best part of our Mombasa trip. there are different routes to choose from according to your interest and fitness level. We chose the village tour and it was nothing short of amazing. Wouldn't have been able to see the things we saw without our local guide. Julian even allowed us to visit a local school (I'm a teacher) and meet the staff and students. We stopped for snacks and drinks along the way and everyone was so friendly, it was clear our guides were familiar with the area. The only negative was the bikes, they were old and squeaky and my breaks barely worked, I was full squeezing them the entire way down a hill. Seems like the owner is putting in minimal capital trying to make the most money, but overall it was a great experience.
