Summary: My friends and I had a fun ring workshop experience! Natsumi-san, one of the staff, was very accommodating as she explained and guided us on how to prepare our rings. I was kind of nervous at first because I might make mistake on the ring design but it became easy because of the tools provided. I recommend this place if you want a memorable souvenir for your Nara tour. The shop is around 5-minute walk from the famous Nakatanidou mochi shop and 8-minute walk from Nara Park. The price are reasonable too and you can have your name engraved!

Summary: My friend and I had booked this to celebrate our first time visiting Nara. The location is not too far from the train station and is tucked away in a shopping area. Walking inside, the place had air conditioning which was a relief from the hot humid climate outside. We were greeted by two women and began the activity. We were offered to sit either at the table or the couch, and we chose to sit at the table. First, we were given a briefing and a flyer which contained the materials, patterns, and shapes we could make our rings. Afterwards, we measured the finger we chose to wear the ring on (for me, it was my left index finger). We got to use unique hammers to make the pattern on our rings, and I was able to get my name engraved on the inside of the ring afterwards. Lastly, we selected from a variety of colored bags (I chose the yellow one) to store our rings in before paying. Overall, I had a fun time and would definitely do it again!

Summary: This was such a great experience! The woman we worked with didn’t speak English but we were able to communicate perfectly fine through the Google translate app. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a fast, unique experience!
