Summary: We needed to kill some time after Banff in Calgary before our flight left. My husband and I spent about 4 hours in Heritage Park, and really enjoyed iti! If you want to experience life 100 years ago or so, this was really fascinating! I loved the train ride, being able to see the inside of the old train cars, and especially Main Street that was set up like a town from the 1920s. Even authentic horse manure in the streets:). It was fun seeing the kids on the old carnival rides, we rode the big swing and ferris wheel. It is a big park and although they have train and horse and buggy rides around, it is a lot of walking. Good food choices and treats. The workers were knowledgeable about their craft.
