Summary: The tour was nothing short of perfect. Our tour guide Mrs. Trinh was probably the best guide we have ever had: extremely knowledgeable (but not overwhelming), charismatic and fun. She even helped us solve some problems with Vietnam Airlines talking to their staff, who could speak very little English. Our driver Mr. Lieu was also great, very professional and helpful. Hue is beautiful and the tour took us to the most important king tombs, where we learned a lot about the Nguyen dynasty and the country’s history. The places are really impressive. After lunch in a phenomenal local restaurant, we went to the citadel, where we also had a great time exploring the imperial city and forbidden city.

Summary: This was a great day tour of major attractions in Hue. We had one day to see what we could so purchased this private tour with Tony our guide. He was very knowledgeable and we had a super driver as well.

Summary: The tour guide was delightful and very knowledgeable with good communication skills in english. Our guide went out of her way to make sure we viewed as much as possible given the allotted time. The driver was also relaxed and pleasant.

Summary: We had a tour guild, Son, who was very knowledgable about the history of Hue. He took us to two incredible tombs, both very unique, and incredible in their own ways. We then had a delicious lunch, and an in depth tour of the Imperial City. He was friendly, entertaining, and clearly had a deep understanding of the history behind Hue and Vietnam. He had incredible stories to tell, and knew all the best spots for pictures, rest, and landscapes. We had a clean, air conditioned car with a great driver and plenty of water. If youre in Hue, I would recommend hiring these two; it really made the most of our single day here.

Summary: The tour included the best highlights of Hue. The King tombs, the citadel and the pagoda. All were stunningly beautiful. Our guide Tony knew all about the sites and was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Big recommendation!

Summary: Our driver, Hau, was absolutely perfect! He arrived right on time, the car was clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. He was friendly, helpful and exceptionally skilled at navigating the roads (and occasional traffic chaos). He took us from Hoi An to Hue with stops along the way at Marble Mountain, Hai Van Pass and the Lagoon. He kept us updated on the duration to each stop and what to expect when we arrived. He dropped us right at the entrance to each and waited until we were finished before picking us up again, in the exact same spot. It could not possibly have been more efficient, more convenient or easier. We got to see wonderful sites in the most pleasant way possible. Highly recommend this service - and Hau in particular!

Summary: Mr Hoang spoke excellent English and gave great explanations on the diverse history and architecture. He covered wider history and explanations of Buddhism. Before the Citadel and Forbidden City he took us on a great boat cruise. Lunch was excellent at a busy restaurant full of locals that specialised in Hue dishes which Mr Hoang explained. Mr Lieu was the driver and was calm and smooth and had a nice car for the 4 of us visitors.

Summary: Excellent Hue city tour. Mr Hoa has a superb command of English (2 years in California), thorough knowledge of Hue's history and sites, a great sense of humour and is a skilled photographer. The vehicle was new, immaculate and driven safely by our courteous driver. Highly recommended!

Summary: Excellent city tour that stops at some key locations. Our tour guide, Ms. Trinh, was knowledgeable and shared much about the history and culture. She also did a great job helping to navigate away from large crowds and captured some pictures of us. With only a short time in Hue, we appreciated how much we covered with this tour. Summary: We were met by our guide, the delightful Ms Trinh, and our driver Mr Phuoc from our train and taken to our hotel and then proceeded to visit the tombs of the 12th and 2nd Kings of the Nguyen Dynasties. Timing was brilliant as we missed any crowds. We then visited the pagoda and took a private dragon boat along the Perfume River to lunch. This was a 5 course traditional Hué cuisine menu. Perfect. The afternoon’s visit to the Citadel, Imperial and Forbidden palaces was again just excellent. Trinh was so lovely and extremely knowledgeable. She made everything very interesting and not just a history lesson. Mr Phuoc was so polite and punctual for every pickup. We could not have asked for more to make our only day in Hué well worth the visit. Thank you both.
