You’ll enjoy an adrenalin-pumping jeep safari across dirt roads and tracks through Valia Calda, Greece’s oldest and biggest National Park. We follow remote routes used by brown bears and lumberjacks, stop for panoramic views of unspoiled nature, sample seasonal wild berries, and dip in pristine ponds when temperatures allow. Pickup is early morning (around 9:30) and you’ll be dropped back late afternoon for a full-day outdoor experience.
During the outing you’ll be offered homemade veggie pie, seasonal fruits and local sweets served in nature (not in a taverna). These locally sourced snacks are included to complement your outdoor sightseeing and berry-sampling stops in the National Park.
You should bring your own personal clothing appropriate for the temperature and mountain conditions, as personal garments are not supplied. Layered outdoor clothing, sturdy shoes for uneven paths, and weather-appropriate outerwear are recommended for the National Park terrain.
