Summary: The tower sits nicely in central Sapporo around Odori subway area/ Odori park area. A different type of tower experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our voucher via Viator was easily exchanged for tickets. We did this around 11am: no crowds or tourist buses. Very happy that we made the time. Is it worth doing and is it good value for money: YES to both. It took us around 45 minutes in total. There is also so much to see and experience around this area: we walked and walked, this day: wonderful time. It is well worth your time and the few ‘shekels’ it costs. ???????? A tip: if you want to have gorgeous seafood at a fraction of the cost in your western home country go to the Niji Market, which is only 5 minutes from the tower: in our 5-day stay we had 2 unbelievable meals their: we preferred the side-streets instead of the main road: very small authentic Japanese restaurants: broken English and plenty of food pictures available: use your Google Translator also.
