Summary:
We enjoy kayaking through mangroves and have done it on three other continents. I think since we overbooked our tour with a full group, we were scheduled for an atypical time when the tide was out.
Our guide was great, sharing insight on our other interests with surfing, and it's a beautiful place to visit. We were the only ones out there (not just on our tour) and we were taken care of well by the crew from hotel pick up to drop off.
We were disappointed to not see any wildlife, which of course the tour can't control. It might have been the time of our tour, but we saw monkeys in four other places and snakes on another rafting outing. So, I would say if you are considering this tour for a calming, private experience you will be very happy. But, if you are hoping to see wildlife, this wouldn't be your best choice.
