Summary: My wife and I, went on the lighthouse excursion on September 25, 2025 in the afternoon and had a fantastic experience. Captain Kelly McNeil and her crew were excellent and we have nothing but praise for them. With Captain MeNeil’s “eagle”eyes she spotted and directed where to look to see numerous bald eagles at various locations and pointed out a whale coming up to feed numerous time. The light house viewing was marvelous. Captain McNeil was very informative the entire trip. Plus, the bonus of giving us a snack of salmon with hot chocolate was perfect. I highly recommend this excursion to everyone! Dan Courtney.

Summary: From start to finish LT &E E was one of the best shore excursions we have ever had. We booked through Shore Excursions Group without a hitch (except when we accidentally pushed the "cancel" button and had to regroup) The excursion boat, 60 foot, about 40-45 passenger capacity ,was immaculately clean and ship shape . The crew members were very attentive and polite. Captains Kelsey and Jeff provided clear and non intrusive narratives as we motored along Ward Bay near Ketchikan. A delicious snack of local products was served along with all the coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water we wanted. And , indeed, we saw the Guard Lighthouse, Totem Bight State Park and plenty of eagles..success!

Summary: This little tour provided all that was promised and more! It was a rainy and cold day but we were warm and comfortable with the provided hot chocolate and snacks. We saw that eagles, totems, and lighthouses, as well as whales and porpoises. We stopped many times to look at eagles or their nests. The crew was excellent and the knowledgeable guide made sure we didn't miss a thing.
