Aura expertly guided our small group through 6 well chosen locations, showing us the rich and flavourful culinary traditions of the Baranca neighbourhood in Lima.
Aura made us all feel welcome. She listened and responded to all our questions, creating a warm atmosphere. One of the unique elements to this tour compared to other food tours I've been on was the first stop where we where shown and tasted many of the raw and base ingredients in many of the dishes we were going to experience on the rest of the tour. This was much appreciated.
I really feel well prepared to navigate the rest of trip with a solid understanding of what we might expect over the next 2 weeks of our trip. All of the food and drinks were delicious, but the cultural understanding we gained from the explanations were even more appreciated. I would strongly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Lima.
