Book Your Stargazing Tour in San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta

Summary: Absolutely loved this stargazing experience! The guide was knowledgeable and a great storyteller, explaining the stars, planets, and constellations in a way that made it all easy to follow and fascinating to watch come to life through the telescope. The setting was peaceful and beautifully organised, with warm drinks, snacks, and plenty of time to enjoy the night sky without feeling rushed. You really get the sense of being far from everything, surrounded by silence and stars. Dress very warmly, the desert nights get cold, but this is one of the absolute must-do experiences in San Pedro de Atacama. You’ll come away with wonderful memories, a photo of you under the Milky Way, and a whole new appreciation for the universe above.

Summary: Excellent tour . It was very cold in the desert ,but we learned a.lot about stars and galaxies. We looked at the stars through a telescope and we warmed ourselves with a hot tea. The guides and the driver were great

Summary: The guide was very knowledgeable and provided excellent cultural insight. I would do it again. However, the driver’s professionalism fell short. At one point, a guest tried to return to the vehicle due to the freezing cold but was barred from entering on the grounds that “photographs were being taken.” This was especially troubling as the photography session had already ended. It was a bizarre and unnecessary encounter that could have endangered the guest’s health, particularly if they were prone to hypothermia.

Summary: Alejandro our stargazing guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining! We learned a lot and had a fun and amazing time! He explained in both very good English and Spanish and took time to answer everyone’s questions. Would highly recommend!

Summary: Extremely well done ! I learned so much about the Southern skies. Some of the stories were real eye-openers. Do you know that the nearest star Alpha Centauri is 4 lightyears away from us, while the sunlight takes 8 minutes to reach us. This compares like the size of a grain of sand (the sunlight) vs. the Eiffel Tower (Alpha Centauri). I could go on mentioning extremely interesting need-to-knows, but you better get out there yourself ! Other stuff worth mentioning: yummy food during the stargazing and superb post-event services (a lot of pictures are sent out !).

Summary: Honestly, I thought these star gazing tours were gimmicky as the photos seem too good to be true. We came to Atacama without this tour booked but a fellow visitor in one of our other tours mentioned about how good the tour was and Alberto as a guide. We took his word for it and bit the bullet. And I was proven to be wrong. This turned out to be one of the best experiences we’ve had in the Atacama Desert! It was a cloudless night where we saw a a lot of shooting stars (there might have been a meteor shower) and the Milky Way was so visible it was breathtaking! We had the pleasure of Alberto as our guide, who was lovely and very knowledgable (he has a phd!). We were very impressed by Alberto and the beautiful night sky. Alberto brought his camera along to snap a few pics which he promptly shared with us after a couple of days from the tour and boy they were amazing! I highly recommend this tour and Alberto!

Summary: What an unforgettable, fantastic experience. Both photographer and guide were amazing in their expertise, our photos are incredible. We cannot thank you enough Alberto and Diego!
