We had a great time yesterday with Mark from Looe Walking Tours on the From Pennyland to The Pier tour. It was fantastic to learn the fascinating history of Looe, its buildings and its people. Who knew that the iron loops outside St Nicholas Church were to attach ‘scoulding cages’ for troublesome women! Mark is a really engaging and knowledgeable guide. The tour was advertised for 90 minutes, however it actually went on for over two hours. Absolutely excellent value for money and hugely enjoyable.
