Summary: We had a great time yesterday with Mark from Looe Walking Tours on the From Pennyland to The Pier tour. It was fantastic to learn the fascinating history of Looe, its buildings and its people. Who knew that the iron loops outside St Nicholas Church were to attach ‘scoulding cages’ for troublesome women! Mark is a really engaging and knowledgeable guide. The tour was advertised for 90 minutes, however it actually went on for over two hours. Absolutely excellent value for money and hugely enjoyable. Highly recommended. Looking forward to the Smugglers and Skulduggery tour next!

Summary: Thank you Mark for a fascinating walking tour of Looe. Time flew by as we experienced Looe present day and in the past. Your local knowledge was exemplary and you made the historic sites come alive with really interesting stories and fun anecdotes. We both learned so much about Looe and Cornwall. We enjoyed going off the beaten track to see hidden Looe that we would not have experienced. We particularly enjoyed hearing about your family and your connection to the town. Could not have been better. The dogs enjoyed it too!!!! Thank you.
