Ever notice how a certain smell, taste, or feel certain food brings on a sense of nostalgia? It brings you back to a certain place and time with family, friends, and memories over a heart-warming meal; well, this is just such an event. Together we re-create my grandpa's holiday feast of pierogi, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, and more. Starting from fresh ingredients from the seasonal garden & pantry we work our way towards the kitchen, before filling our bellies with joy. Please join us in this celebration during your visit to the South Shore, Lunenburg County and nearby Nova Scotia.

Summary:
We started by picking some tomatoes, scallions and herbs from the garden and proceeded to the kitchen.
After a quick intro into kitchen, menu, and our choices. My daughter in law and I divided up jobs and Rob instructed as he taught us about history. Very educational and informative time.
More than enough to eat, around our likes and dislikes with some new tries maybe!!

Rob demystifies the creation of perogies, cabbage rolls and sauerkraut. Walks you through every step. Accompanied by an interesting presentation of the relationship between the food and his family and ancestors. At times the information is a bit overwhelming, but overall a great afternoon. Plus we had enough leftovers for another meal. Rob and Csndice are welcoming and genuinely interested in you and your experience. Would recommend.
