Summary: My Machu Picchu visit with Mi Guia Machupicchu included a one night’s stay in Aguas Calientes, all necessary transportation/tickets, and a guide. I am so glad I chose this company because my experience was PERFECT! The team was communicative, detailed, and friendly from the beginning. Once it was time for the trip, Joan met me in-person to explain step by step how it was going to work. He even regularly checked in with me throughout the two days to ensure everything was going well. As a solo traveler, I expected the Machu Picchu tour be with a larger group, but instead, Joan told me that they hired a private guide for me so that I could get the most out of the experience. The guide they hired, Yoel, was excellent and gave me a truly unforgettable tour. Once I returned to Cusco, Joan met me as soon as I stepped off the bus and then dropped me off right at the door of my hotel. He and his team provided me top notch service from start to finish, making my visit smooth and easy. While other travelers were rushing around to buy tickets and find their way, my visit was not one bit stressful because Joan had everything so organized for me. I highly recommend Mi Guia Machupicchu!

Summary: Generally we are very independent traveler's, we hiked the Salkantay trail on our own, but I highly recommend a guide for Machu Picchu. Honestly it's almost insensitive not to, as I wouldnt have known what I was looking at or all the cultural and historical significance, and it is their cultural heritage afterall. They helped us plan out everything and were able to get us last minute passes and bus tickets that would otherwise have been unavailable and difficult to navigate on our own. Our guide spoke fluent English and was extremely knowledgeable, he stayed in communication with us the days leading up, and even offered to help us navigate the train back to Cusco. It was a great experience and a great way to see Machu Picchu, which is an absolute must. Our guide even got us to a great viewpoint which would have otherwise required a reservation made months in advance.

Summary: The trip was extremely easy to navigate, from the moment we landed in Cusco, through out Machu Picchu and even the hotel we were taken care of. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Juan Carlos our tour guide took so many photos and showed so much excitement and passion for Machu Picchu and the culture. Views were also breath taking. 10/10 recommend to a friend!
