Summary: Despite having been several times in the Langhe, we had not yet visited this wonderful castle! Beautiful outdoor area, a real open-air museum and very interesting interior where in addition to the history of Cavour, it becomes a museum of the territory and I must say that it is done really very well, I absolutely recommend it if you are in the area!

Summary: We had no idea what to expect from Grinzane Cavour Castle and when our guide took us there first, we were delighted from the start. It's an amazing castle, in a gorgeous location, and it's a fabulous introduction to Piedmontese wines and vineyards. So interesting, so educational but not overwhelming, And there are lots of English language signs and descriptions, so we got an enormous amount out of our visit.

Summary: A must-visit for anyone staying in Langhe. The castle itself is beautiful, and offers an extremely educational and informative experience for anyone who's interested in learning about the region's history, as well as past and present winemaking. We loved our visit and look forward to returning soon. We returned a few days later at night to take pictures of the castle which is lit up every night with the colors of the Italian flag, and it was beautiful to see at night.
