Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
- Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by skydive wanaka or nzone may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.

OMG- best thing ever. Did this with my two teenagers. What a day! The team at NZone are fantastic. My instructor, Linsey, was the best- put me at ease from the get-go and explained everything as we went, as well as having quite the sense of humour 😄 He also took the time to explain more about the parachutes, packing techniques etc after the jump, with my kids and me. Chris and Ivan were also wonderful instructors for my kids. Thank you all- a memory with my children I’ll be forever be grateful to have 🙏

Definitely one of the best experiences that I had in Queenstown. And my instructor Linley took great care of the whole jumping process, as well as getting me some really great camera footage throughout the whole experience that I will remember this whole trip for the rest of my life!

The experience was exceptional from beginning to end, and I highly recommend it. While the cost was a consideration, it is consistent with the current economic climate in New Zealand. Despite this, the activity was enjoyable and worthwhile. I encourage participation.

The minimum weight is 40kg (88lbs); passengers over 95kg are subject to tandem master assessment. All participants must complete a medical questionnaire, and minors need written parental or guardian consent.
The operation is wheelchair accessible and infants or small children can ride in a pram or stroller while at the facility. However, actual tandem skydiving has medical and harness-fitting requirements, so discuss accessibility and suitability with staff before booking.
