Summary: This is the first time I've been able to have such a close encounter with sea turtles during their nesting season, and I must say it left a lasting impression on me. During each of the excursions we booked, we were able to witness this wonderful phenomenon in all its stages, always with a very respectful approach to the turtles. SeaLife is definitely a great choice if you're looking for ecotourism excursions on Sal Island. Thank you so much to Marta and Jailson for this magical adventure. We'll see you again, as it makes us want to do it again!

Summary: After patiently waiting under the clear star light stars, unaffected by light pollution we where privileged to have really close up experience of witnessing one of many turtles actually making a nest then lying eggs, really a eye opener to the dedication of the conservation programme.. Then witnessed a shooting star across the sky as we returned to the transport vehicle made the night.. Brilliant

Summary: Absolute awe inspiring turtle trip. Very professional service and a knowledgeable guide in Leo. Initially before the excursion I feared we may be intruding on what should be a natural and stress free experience for the turtle. However minimising the impact we humans make and ensuring conservation is at the heart of the experience quelled any fears. Witnessing something so majestic, in close proximity, was a once in a lifetime experience. To see a turtle lay their eggs, cover them and return to the ocean was majestic.I highly recommend this trip/company to anyone visiting Cape Verde. It really excelled all expectations!
