The route is very aquatic and moves through tight, constricted gorges, so you should expect a high level of physical effort including sustained swimming, climbing in confined spaces and repeated negotiating of jumps and abseils.
You’ll pass through dramatic, high-walled gorges where the channel narrows and light filters into the water-filled sections. The combination of tight rock walls, clear aquatic passages and technical moves creates an intense, immersive Outdoor & Nature atmosphere in the Alpes-Maritimes.
The course alternates long swims through narrow reaches with numerous jumps and technical passages. You’ll negotiate jumps and vertical sections by abseiling, de-escalation or by jumping where conditions allow, combining swimming, climbing and rope work.
