Paddle River Relics - Your Kayaking Adventure in Saint John, New Brunswick

Set off on a guided kayaking adventure along the shores of the historic Saint John River, launching from Dominion Park Beach in Saint John, NB-just a short 15 minute drive from the center of the city. You’ll paddle a tandem kayak along an ice‑aged river whose path was reshaped 15,000 years ago when receding glaciers forced a new route over the rock ridges at Reversing Falls Rapids, passing a light‑house and visible pre‑Cambrian fossils while hearing an industrial story that stretches back to the 17th century. This scenic, history‑rich location is packed with photo opportunities and wildlife-keep an eye out for bald eagles, great blue herons, sturgeon and, if you’re lucky, harbour seals, osprey or river otters-while you explore the beautiful river that’s been the lifeblood of the region for thousands of years. When you register, please provide traveller information (age, height, weight, etc.) so we can plan appropriately with gear-rough estimates are acceptable.

Summary: Drew and Cal were amazing, definitively recommend this tour. The weather was bit cold, but it was tolerable as long as you didn't get wet. Saw some eagles and eagle nests. Saw a light house and some very old fosils.

Summary: We all had a blast as a family. The day turned out to be beautiful. Wanda, the owner, picked us up from the cruise terminal and gave us a tour of St John before we got to the river. Everything was so nice and professional. Darren and Cal were amazing with our family as our guides. My daughter said that she would give the excursion a “million stars if she could!” Can’t recommend this enough for those wanting to get outdoors and get in nature.
