Summary: We'd originally booked this tour, but in the days prior, the company let me know that a very large group had joined for the same day, and asked if we still wanted to go. Under those circumstances, we decided to pass, and they very kindly let us cancel even though it was technically too late. It might seem strange to review a tour that we didn't actually go on, but I was so impressed by a tour company that demonstrated that they put your experience ahead of their own profits, I really wanted to comment on that. You can be sure that the same will apply to any tours you book with them (we also did the aurora hunt and that was the same, they cared very much that everyone got what they wanted out of it).

Summary: We had a great day with Dave and Erik. They both entertained the group with their knowledge of the area as we drove to see the reindeer. The experience itself was amazing. It started with a presentation of sorts by a Sami woman and owner of the property and around 700 reindeer. We learned about the Sami culture and about the reindeer, and then went out to meet and feed a handful of them. They’re very sweet creatures! On the way back, we took a ferry and Dave had a sandwich lunch for us. Even my 18-year old who doesn’t like anything loved this excursion.

Summary: Dave’s a great guide and wealth of knowledge about the area, photography, and Norway. He made the long drive informative and engaging. The reindeer is a great stop for families and those young at heart.
