Summary:
This has been the first time that we went sandboarding. After being picked up in the city center we took a colectivo to the dune. We both got our board fitted to our riding style and started walking up the dune. We started with some explanation and test rides on some smaller sections of the dune and worked our way up to the steeper parts. You could take as many rides as you wish but keep in mind that you need to walk up the dune each time. Also the stiffer your boots, the more control over the board you have as there are no boots provided or needed. Also we got some amazing pictures and videos afterwards.
All in all this is a activity I can recommend to anybody who likes snowboarding or anybody who wants to try a new sport!

We booked on a tour with Javier through sandskull on Facebook. He provided us with sand boards and transport and showed us how to sand board, as we were beginners. The dunes were huge and it was a fun day for only 40PEN per person.

he and his friend tols us alot about the area and the town!
we did nit just sand board. they climbed all the way up to the “mountain” with them and they showed us an ild riune. they were the most fun!!
they picked us up at our hostel and droped us off at our hostel as well and we even got some food with them on our way home! thanks guys ut was a great day!!
