Summary:
We had an excellent experience cooking and enjoying the prepared four course lunch with wine pairings. Not only did we learn new cooking techniques and about Greek food but also about Greek wines. One, if not the best, meals we’ve had in Greece. Highly recommend.

This class was included in a tour with Road Scholar.
Our group made 4 absolutely delicious dishes: Greek salad, dolmadakia (grape leaves stuffed with dill rice), yuvetsi (chicken stew with orzo), and galaktoboureko (custard baked in phyllo). This class is totally hands on: all doing, virtually no watching. Kostas and Agathe are great teachers. I learned something new with each dish, including the Greek salad which you might think is pretty basic, but Kostas's dressing twist is a keeper. The meal was served with excellent wine from the region.

We loved the modern twists on traditional Greek cuisine and even our friend’s Greek mama who was travelling with us loved the experience (despite being dragged to the class under duress originally thinking that nobody could teach her anything about Greek cuisine). The wine pairing was also brilliant. A lovely evening.
