What an amazing, scary, wonderful, memorable day! The company operates very professionally, equipping you with great gear and then giving you a some training on their base as well as a little pep talk if needed ;-D
Then, you're accompanied by a group of very skilled guides into the actual canyon, in which they have played as children - and that shows. While we were all respectful, to say the least, of the canyon, they knew every nook and cranny and were even able to walk up waterfalls??!!! They knew how to guide us inside the canyon safely, as well as keep up a good mood and be constantly encouraging and reassuring if someone started to feel hesitant. Even though I was one of the scared ones in the group, I'd return in a heartbeat and do it all over again. Thank you!
I will say, they do appreciate when you book through them locally instead of through bigger tour operators & cruise companies, so please help them out and do that when you can!
