Summary: What an excellent tour that allows you to experience the more underrated towns of Santa Catarina and San Antonio nestled in Lake Atitlan. Our tour guide was Jorge and he spoke excellent English. He gave us a hybrid of Spanish and English so I could practice my comprehension. You really get to experience the true culture and the people in this area. We got to see the process of artesanal pot making, learned about traditional clothing and trinkets, saw the work of a chocolatier, and visited old churches. Each experience was short enough and in depth to capture our attention without over saturation. We originally booked this tour bc it just worked out perfectly for the time we arrived (4pm) and we only had 1 night to stay. The tour itself made our short stay in Panajachel worthwhile. Lastly, the sunset is amazing off the dock of San Antonio.
