Summary: The excursion is so much fun and Haunui is a great captain! He shares his knowledge and stories of the wave, the area and the history of Teahupo’o. Highly recommend even if there are not any surfers out in the wave - just being there and feeling the swells is a really special experience.

Summary: We had a great time on this excursion and highly recommend booking one for yourself. Seeing the 20’ waves up close was better than we expected. On top of that, he explained about how the reef protects the islands and how we were able to get so close to the waves themselves. Definitely worth renting a car to explore the island and see where the Olympics were held. Just do it.
