Summary: The Bryan Museum is in the old Galveston Protestant and Jewish Orphanage. The grounds and the building are beautiful! It’s a fairly small museum with Texas historic artifacts and artwork. It has several short videos on the museum, the 1900 Hurricane and the orphanage. We attended the museum with our Sons’ family including our 12 and 7 year old Grandsons. The museum is a great addition to Galveston’s historical sites!

Summary: This museum had such a diverse selection of artifacts and exhibits that pertained to Texas history and Texas culture and it was presented in a smooth flow if you followed the brochures recommendations for each room. So much interactive information to choose from. And even an audio recording for each room to explain what each room was use for when the building was an orphanage. The art collection was beautifully displayed.. We have been to many day trips to Galveston and I am so glad we found this jewel.
