Summary: Incredible experience with Randy! Super recommended. We could see a number of schools that were not moving, you could see them up close. Moray eels, lobster, fish of all colors! and even a shark, which as soon as it saw us fled! Excellent attention. We will be back!!!

Summary: Yvonne at Scuba fun was lovely to deal with, we checked in a few days prior to our excursion and mentioned my wife struggled with sea sickness. Yvonne researched local weather and called us to reschedule our trip for a day later when the waves were lighter. Very thoughtful!! We didn’t realize that Scuba Fun did not have there own boats but rather got customers geared up then found space on other local dive companies boats. Not a big issue but was confused about that. Scuba fun is an outfitter who gets you a boarding pass on other companies vessels. Zack was our guide from scuba fun who met us for a pre dive at scuba fun and dispensed gear (BCD, wetsuits, mask, fins and snorkel) the bcd was in good shape and the wetsuits did their job. Our regulators seemed pretty weathered, my wife had issues with hers in the water but still managed to dive with it, my regulator mouthpiece was almost chewed all the way through which made retention difficult but possible. Zack was a bit surly but seemed knowledgeable and matter of fact (which I think creates a calmer atmosphere). My wife still got sick and he was quick with a bucket to assist her. We tipped both Zack as well as the operator of the vessel we were assigned for the day separately! I would absolutely book through scuba fun again, I see the benefit in them being a separate entity from the vessel as they can shop around and be an advocate for the divers individual concerns. I feel like some of the bigger companies would have just put us out despite the conditions. Only improvement or advice for next time would be to do a thorough inspection of any rental gear during your pre dive. I anticipate this is a risk you assume anywhere! We dove on Winch reef and Eagle Ray reef, we had 30 feet water clarity, 77 degree water temp, dove to a max depth of 37 feet for two 40 minute dives. We saw lobster, moray eel, sea turtle, barracuda, angel fish, and hundreds of reef fish and colourful coral!

Summary: I recently took my 4 sons (and 1 son-in-law) down to the keys for a dive trip. Only my son-in-law and I were certified, so my sons all had to get certified. We were referred to Scuba Fun by a mutual friend, and I can’t say enough great things about them! Yvonne put together an exceptional package for us that included eLearning (prior to coming down) as well as pool sessions and 6 dives! Yvonne REALLY knows her stuff, and made it so easy for us…even the check in and equipment rental was flawless (and we are all BIG men)! Craig was assigned to my son-in-law and I for our refresher/checkout dives, and David was the Dive Instructor for my sons (as well as our ongoing guide) and both were AMAZING! Professional, yet fun…patient, thoughtful, helpful, and knowledgeable! We even faced some weather and wind difficulties, that prevented us from diving when and where we originally were scheduled, and they had seamlessly provided contingency plans and options for us that were PERFECT! From the moment we checked in with them, to the moment we checked out, I knew we were in the best hands! Summary: I have used Scuba-Fun's diving services several times in recent years during my Florida stays. Even after the change of ownership, thank you to Yvonne, nothing has changed. All my desired and pre-booked dives were excellently prepared and organized. Unlike most other dive centers, care is taken to keep the number of divers to a minimum, i.e. to a small group, in the case of “Guided Dives”. At none of my TG's was the group larger than 4 people. Thanks and “thanks you” also to Brent, who as an experienced guide has always chosen different paths and skilfully avoided the other divers from the dive boat. A “servus” until next time.

Summary: First time I booked a trip with Scuba Fun was in 2017, when I wanted to go snorkeling with some buddies. The waters around Key Largo are so nice and the marine life so beautiful I decided to try the discover Scuba class in 2018. It was such a great experience (thank you Tanya) that I decided to go for my Open Water Diver license. I was able to convince my wife and 12-year old daughter to do the Discover Scuba class at the same time. I contacted Anya and, as always, she planned everything perfectly so we could all go diving together. As my wife and daughter got their first scuba experience with Tanya, Tom took me under his wings to teach me all the skills I needed to know to get certified. They are both amazing instructors, experienced and very patient. There is nothing bad to say about this place. All great people! Shout out to Tom for being a great guy and perfect diving instructor/buddy!

Summary: Once again ~ the entire Scuba Fun staff was awesome; from our on line training portion of the experience to the “Dive Shop” visit. Cindy and I always anxiously anticipate the enjoyable time we spend at Scuba-Fun…Anya is the best, always so helpful and personally ensures that everything is taken care of. Tanya took care of our training needs with perfect precision. She was technically proficient and delivered us the Stress and Rescue class in a fantastic manner. Summary: Great overall experience had a very friendly and highly experienced dive instructor. Everything about this adventure was amazing. Was very nice to have such an experienced dive instructor we received very thorough training on equipment, diving technique and diving etiquette. Diving with our instructor Dan was also great because he clearly was very familiar with the dive sites in the area maximizing the full potential of each dive. The fact that Scuba Fun is not a large commercialized company is perfect giving us a much more enjoyable and personalized experience that you will not find with larger companies. Also, the owner Anya was very knowledgeable with all the gear and the dive boats in area as both boats we went out on were very professional. She offers great deals on gear to go along with the class so now my girlfriend and I are dive certified and we own our own professional grade equipment all for a very reasonable price.
