Book Your Vök Baths Admission Ticket in the Eastern Region, Iceland

Summary: Went to the baths after a long drive and it was perfect to unwind. The place is large with 3 pools with different temperatures. If you want the cold plunge, you can go in the lake directly from one of the pools. There's also a steam room and you get a complementary tea with the admission ticket. The changing rooms are large, clean and modern, fully equipped with toiletries

Summary: Super fun experience, even at night time! We went after a full day of hiking the surrounding area & it was the perfect way to end the day!

Summary: We used the Vok baths at night (with a full moon) and it was quite a lovely experience. The cold plunge is a must try-even if you’re on the fence about it, just got for it!

Summary: I loved that this was on a lake and that the cold plunge was the lake, itself! So open and beautiful. Even with other people around, I somehow felt like I had a nice amount of space.

Summary: The pools overlook a beautiful lake with hills in the distance. It is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours after a day of hiking or driving. There a few pools of varying temperatures and a sauna. For those wanting to cool off, a jump into the lake does the trick. While not our favorite spa (that goes to the Forest Lagoon in Akuyeri), the Vök Baths were very nice. The only negative was how slippery the main pool was. That will, of course, be corrected when they clean it again.

Summary: Loved vok baths! We’ve done a few geothermal hot springs in Iceland all over the country, and this was one of the best! So clean and beautiful! The view of the lake is soothing and breath taking at the same time. Baths are well designed and felt amazing! Loved the cold mist and steam rooms, and a quick plunge in the lake felt refreshing.

Summary: Bring a change of clothes. You shower before entering the baths. Can't bring any food or bag into the baths area.

Summary: We enjoyed the Vok baths. The people were friendly. You get a wrist band that lets you enter, open/close your locker and exit. I think you could use it for other things as well but that is all I used mine for. We were there around 7 pm and ate at the small restaurant first. The food was good but the portions were small. We all enjoyed trying the complimentary tea. The scenery was beautiful and the baths felt great after a long day. The ramps to get in and out are slippery and slimy. There was some small pieces of that black slime floating around in the water which I didn’t love. My family members all enjoyed jumping into the cold lake and had a beverage. The locker rooms were nice with the showers completely private and an open locker room. Mirrors and hairdryers were available as well. I thought the price was fair compared to the price of other places.

Summary: Vök baths is a place to die for! They have huge changing rooms with privacy so that you don't have to change infornt of any one. The hot springs are amazing with the spectacular view, cold mist shower and steam room. You can also take a cold plunge in the lake! Afterword, you can make your own tea. I recommend the lemon balm.
