Summary: Had a wonderful tour with Carol, who was a Cleveland native and knew so much about the market! I like old architecture, so it was fun learning about the history of the Market and background of the vendors- plus great food!

Summary: Be adventurous and try everything!! And if going in the winter time bundle up it can get very cold in there. Carol was our tour guide and was fantastic. All the vendors were amazing.

Summary: Carol was a very knowledgeable and gracious guide, very eager to accommodate everyone. I failed to alert her ahead of time that two of our group were gluten-free but she made the best of it and offered them alternatives on the fly where possible. Some of us were out of towners and some were born & raised in Cleveland but the tour appealed to everyone with lots of insider information about the history of the market and the individual vendors that you would not have access to knowing if touring on your own. we would have liked a map of the market or a listing of the vendors that we visited so that we could find them easily after the tour to return and make purchases from them.

Summary: Carol did a great job navigating the market on a busy holiday Friday. We had a wide range of tastings ....all superb. The vendors were gracious and generous with their samples. Only change I'd make would be to get business cards from where we sampled. After the tour we went back and made several purchases.

Summary: Great tour with Carol in late August. Fun to hear a little history of the building and market. Loved almost all of the food stops along the way - the jerky was a revelation! Also nice that it was less overwhelming than some other markets (Reading Terminal or Pike Place) in big cities. A good way to see more of Cleveland than the downtown areas. Great Lakes Brewing is right next door too if you're into beer.

Summary: We enjoyed our tour led by Carol. She shared a lot of history and her knowledge and passion for food. There were a lot of samples from many of the local markets vendors. Come with an appetite and willingness to try all the treats that this market has to offer.

Summary: Considering all of the sports events and concerts we have gone to in Cleveland over the last 25 years I don't know how we never visited this gem. Taking the Food Tour of West Side Market was priceless. It was a great experience taking the tour with a guide that knows the ins and outs. You can not go wrong. Great vendors with something for everyone. Whether it is the sweets, pasta, breads, cheese or Pierogies they have it all! This is a must do for everyone~

Summary: I would highly recommend a visit to the The West Side Market while in Cleveland. Foodies of all sizes will be awed by the vast array of great choices from fresh coffee to incredible cuts of meat. The deserts are awesome with more creme filling in the creme puffs than you could imagine!!!!!! Plenty of finger food for walking around!!! Give it a try you will not be disappointed!! In addition the building itself is a classic European Architecture with excellent tile work from long lost artisans.. don’t miss!
