Positive: Clean, nice people The owners have clearly made an effort. The building is old and tired, and the common spaces are dreary, but the (small) room was updated with a new comfortable bed, nice linens, and new (simple) furnishings. Same for the bathroom. The shower is in the bathroom, with no enclosure (be prepared!), but there's plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There's a new A/C/heating unit, though we preferred an open window (with screen!). Free parking. Central location.
Negative: The walls and ceilings could use a fresh coat of paint. Three floors, no elevator.
