Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The house is located a few metres from Arroyo de Valizas. The facilities inside the house were nice and comfortable. It's possible to get a clear view of the stars as there aren't many lights around that could cause light pollution. Private car parking is behind the house. There is a dining table at the back of the house, beside the parilla and the car parking. There is seating in front of the house on both ground and first floors to have a look at the arroyo and maybe have coffee or drinks.
Negative: 1. The key to the front door was broken just prior to our arrival, so we had a door that we couldn't lock so we had to take valuables with us everytime we stepped out. We used the coffee table as a makeshift lock to block that door from the inside. (It was just back luck that it happened with us and due to holiday time, the host couldn't get the issue fixed) 2. The water heater in the bathroom has an issue with the thermostat. Once it turns off, it doesn't turn on automatically, we have to manually press a button and if we are not aware of it, we'll not have hot water to take a shower especially when there are multiple people. We were informed of this during check-in but it was an inconvenience if you forget. 3. In the same house, a part of the ground floor is used by other occupants (you don't see them but will definitely hear them). If they have a fight or playing music, it's heard in both the bedrooms. 4. The house is located in the fishermen's neighborhood. This neighborhood has a private unpaved muddy road that is a disaster when it rains and our car hit the bottom while trying to navigate it. Be aware of it if you are going during or immediately after rains. While coming back, we had to build a makeshift track with stones to not get stuck in the mud.
